Inspired by the salon's of Gertrude Stein's Paris, Food 4 Art is New Yorks' first (and only) "sing for your supper club." 

Hosted by Chef Hilary Johnston and artist Jeremy Pasha, Food 4 Art is a fabulous dinner party featuring a curated table of acclaimed and diverse NYC artists enjoying a ritzy four-course gourmet meal all for the low, low price of art. 

Food. For Art.

The idea is quite simple. Between mouthwatering courses, each dinner guest shares a three-to-five minute morsel of their creative art in an inspiring and welcoming environment. 

At the October salon, Food 4 Art played host to a photographer, a fashion designer, a Grammy-nominated writing team, a playwright, a film editor, a visual artist, a drag queen... you get the idea. And that was only a few of the brilliant artists in attendance.

We understand that it isn't easy to be an artist in New York and sometimes you need that little boost of inspiration and support to continue creating and living your passion. And what better way to network with fellow artists than at the dinner table. 

Since 2012, the Food 4 Art network of artists has been growing and supporting one another through a Facebook group and a monthly newsletter. We are hoping to expand our group even further in 2017 as we branch out to new cities (Montreal, Chicago and LA - Here we come!) and even start an NYC Teen Food 4 Art, designed to encourage the next crop of brilliant artists.
